The first week of December is almost finished, which means that we are well into the holiday season. Part of the joy of holidays is the decorations including the sparkle and wonder of Christmas lights. In and near the City of Mansfield, TX, there are plenty of neighborhoods to stroll through to see some beautiful displays. There are also places besides neighborhoods that are solely dedicated to the wonder of lights this time of year. We have compiled a list of lights nearby that you and your family can enjoy.
Places To See Lights:
- Enchant Christmas Light Maze & Market takes place at Ranger Stadium in Arlington, TX. The event makes its U.S debut in Texas this holiday season. It features the tallest Christmas tree in North Texas, an ice-skating pond, Santa’s Palace, and The Enchant Christmas Market with over 100 shopping vendors and food trucks.
- Prairie Lights is the North Texas’s holiday drive-through park featuring more than 5 million lights along the shores Joe Pool Lake in Lynn Creek Park. It features the world’s longest light tunnel.
- Magical Winter Lights at Lone Star Park in Grand Praire is a spectacular festival that presents a multicultural take on traditional holiday light shows. It is open during all of the holidays including Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Years.
- Interlochen Lights has been voted “Texas Best” Christmas Lights by viewers of the Texas Country Reporter television show. The event is always free to drive through your car. Some residents even hand out hot cocoa and candy. It is one of the largest holiday light displays in North Texas as it features more than 200 homeowners dressing up their homes and lawns with Christmas lights and decor!
