Digital X-Rays

Intraoral Cameras

A long with digital x-rays, we will also use intraoral cameras. A minuscule camera is set at the end of a special wand, allowing us to comfortably take a series of photos of your teeth, gums, and oral structures. These images enable us to create a 3D model of your smile and offer a more accurate and precise diagnosis. We also use this technology to create a 3D digital impression, instead of having you bite down on a sticky mold for several minutes. Nitrous Oxide and Oral Sedation

Whether you’re undergoing a routine cleaning, or having a tooth extracted, these cleaning agents help you enter a relaxed state, with little no memory of the procedure afterward.

Nitrous oxide, or laughing gas, is the most common. We administer through a mask over the nose. After inhaling the gas, the patient enters a calm state. As soon as the procedure ends, so will the effects of the gas. You can even return to work or school! Oral sedation offers a deeper state of relaxation. We administer via a pill before the procedure. Patients enter a more substantial relaxed state. The effects will take time to wear off, so you should arrange for a friend or family member to bring you home.
