What Happens When We Lose Natural Teeth?

Full Dentures

As the name implies, a full denture addresses every tooth on one or both arches. The prosthetic will contain natural looking teeth created using lifelike materials, such as ceramic that can be shaded to look like actual tooth enamel. There will be a base created from acrylic to mimic the appearance of gum tissue as well.

Partial Dentures

A partial addresses advanced tooth loss for people that don’t yet need a full denture. The prosthetic can replace missing teeth, even if they’re spread out across the arch. Again, the prosthetic will contain lifelike teeth and a base that looks like gum tissue. We will design and create the partial based on detailed impressions and measurements we take of your smile.

Implant Options

Instead of relying on metal clasps or suction, if the patient has strong enough jawbone tissue and is free of periodontitis, we may insert six to eight dental implants per arch. Once the placement area heals, we can attach a custom-made denture to the dental implants. The prosthetic will be fixed in place and won’t need to be removed for cleaning or maintenance. The dental implants act as new tooth roots, so the body resumes the flow of nutrients and the facial structure is preserved.
