The holiday season only has two more weeks before it is over. Before Christmas this week, there are lots of fun things to do in Mansfield, Texas and surrounding cities. In these last couple of weeks of 2018, be sure to check in with your dentist to use the rest of this year’s dental insurance benefits. You can also wait until January to kick off 2019 with a healthy smile. 

Fun Events

  1. On Saturday, December 22nd in the afternoon, come out to Elmer W. Oliver Nature Park for Painting at the Park. An artist will lead the way giving you step-by-step instructions to create a masterpiece of a winter scene. The class is for people ages 5 and up. All painting supplies will be provided and advanced registration is required.
  2. Mansfield’s first annual Jingle Jog is this year on Saturday, December 22nd. The Jingle Jog will included both a 5K and a fun run through a course in Mansfield Katherine Rose Park. The whole family can participate in the run or in the Jingles and Mingles afterward.
  3. The Mansfield Public Library is hosting December’s Get Crafty event on Thursday, December 20th. Get Crafty occurs every 4th Thursday of the month with a theme specific to that month. Space is limited making advanced registration a requirement for this event.
  4. KidsCreate Studios is hosting a Santa’s Workshop on December 22nd to give parents a chance at a special Date Night. The kids will get to make snowman bobbleheads while the grown-ups get to go out for a night on the town or stay home to wrap Santa’s presents.
