We are nearing the end of 2016, and preparing for the holidays, but there will be plenty of activities to keep us busy in 2017. You can start the new year with community cheer and good health by signing up for Mansfield’s annual Winter Walk. This year’s Winter Walk will be held on January 21, and will include an all-ages family fun walk to benefit Cook’s Children’s Medical Center, and a special timed 5K for the kids. Once the race concludes, families are encouraged to stick around and enjoy post-race activities.

The annual Winter Walk will take place on Saturday, January 21. The event will kick off at 9 am.

The event will be held at the Katherine Rose Memorial Park, located at 303 N Walnut Creek, Mansfield, TX 76063.

Registration for the mile walk and the 5K are both $10 until January 9. After that date, the price increases to $15. You do not have to register to participate in the fun walk, but not registering means you will not be eligible for the commemorative event shirt.

Activities Include:

The event will offer a fun mile walk, and a 5K race for the kids. Post-race festivities and snacks can be enjoyed after the races conclude.
