On Saturday, October 1, you can take part in local efforts to make the city of Mansfield a more beautiful place to live. Mansfield’s Curbside Cleanup And Cookout is an organized effort to bring the community together, to deal with unsightly litter. The city will provide you with the tools you need to effectively clean up trash in the area. After completing pickup efforts for the day, participants can gather at the Chris W. Burkett Service Center at 12:30 pm for a cookout event. Cleaning up Mansfield makes the city a nicer place to be, and protects the local plants and animals. This all-ages cleanup effort is also your chance to meet other residents, while you engage in community service.

The cleanup efforts will take place Saturday, October 1, and will run from 10 am until 12 pm. The cookout event will begin at 12:30 pm.

There will be multiple cleanup area assignments handed out by the event organizers. The cookout event will be held at the Chris W. Burkett Service Center, located at 620 S. Wisteria St, Mansfield, TX 76063.

There is no cost to join this event.
