Intraoral Camera

An intraoral camera is a tool we use to help us view hard-to-reach places in your mouth. It is a comfortable process that helps us see small details that could be missed during a regular exam. It features a long, narrow handpiece with a tiny camera on its end. A fiber-optic light illuminates the viewing area, with the camera sending images to a larger screen. The digital files from this camera, along with files gathered through our other technology, are easily transmitted to other dental specialists or insurance companies. We also keep them in your dental record so that we can refer to them and monitor any changes to your oral health.
