Summer is a fun and exciting time for Mansfield, TX, with plenty of interesting community events taking place. Community Events

  1. Kayaking 101: Kayaking 101 takes place on Saturday, June 1st from 7am until 9am. The class is for children ages 7 to 17, and teaches them how to paddle and use a kayak with a provided dual-seated kayak. They will learn safety techniques as well. Kids must be accompanied by an adult. Early bird admission is $22, regular admission is $24. The event is hosted by the Mansfield Activities Center and is a great activity for the entire family to enjoy!
  2. Spring 2019 Creekside Cleanup: Help beautify your community on Saturday, June 1st from 9am until 11am with the annual Creekside Cleanup. The event takes place at various areas in the city, and admission is free. There will be an after party to celebrate all your hard work at the Chris W. Burkett Service Center on 620 South Wisteria Street.
  3. Chefsville Cooking Camp: Kids ages 7 to 12 can take part in the Chefsville Cooking Camp on Monday, June 3rd from 1pm until 4pm. The course teaches kitchen safety, menu planning, hygiene, healthy eating, and preparing meals with vegetable and fruits. Early bird admission is $130 and regular admission is $135. The camp takes place at the Mansfield Activities Center on 106 South Wisteria.
  4. Space Rock Painting: Create your own unique masterpiece at the Space Rock Painting Event on Tuesday, June 4th from 2pm until 3pm. You can then hide your rock around the city. Admission is free and the event takes place at the Mansfield Public Library on 104 South Wisteria. All supplies will be provided. You and your family will need to pre-register for this event.
