To explore how nature changes and adapts to the season, come enjoy a Spring Scavenger Hunt at Oliver Nature Park in Mansfield, Texas. The event will be a naturalist-led walk with the purpose of learning, searching, examining, and checking off all the unique spring finds listed on your scavenger hunt list. The outing will be best enjoyed when you and your family be sure to wear weather-appropriate clothing and comfortable shoes. All participants over 2 years of age must pre-register for this program at the MAC or online at olivernaturepark.com. Children must be accompanied with at least one adult attending and registered for the program. The event is at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 13th.

Cirque Italia!

The North East Mall is presenting Cirque Italia, an aquatic spectacular show that features a 35,000-gallon water stage with high-energy performances. The brand-new theme show is an artistic blend of human talents, technology, and the art of water with water fountains, jet-skis, pirates, and more.
Aerialists will perform on a chandelier high above the ground. See a contortionist in a bubble, a Venetian aerial duo, and hula hooping in the air. This whimsical production will feature two lasermen, duo jugglers, duo roller-skaters, and even a breathtaking wheel of death. A pre-historic dinosaur may even make an appearance! Cirque Italia will take place on March 9-12th with showtimes throughout the different days.

The Wizard of Oz

The Artisan Center Theater in Hurst, Texas will present the Wizard of Oz, based on the 1939 film starring Judy Garland. The classic, heart-warming musical features classic songs such as “Over the Rainbow,” “We’re Off to See the Wizard,” and “The Merry Old Land of Oz.” Showtimes will run between February 9–March 17: 7:30pm each Monday–Tuesday and Thursday–Saturday. Additional shows at 3pm each Saturday beginning February 17th.
