Thanksgiving is in two days! Can you believe it? For most people in Mansfield, TX, Thanksgiving means seeing family and feasting on plenty of delicious food. For a lot of people, it also might mean shopping for the holidays. Whatever Thanksgiving means to you and your family, there are lots of fun events and activities going on in the DFW area for you to enjoy. This time of year is also a great time to check in with your dentist and make sure you are using your dental insurance benefits before the year ends and you lose them.
- Family Dodgeball night is on Tuesday at 6pm at the Mansfield Activities Center. The event is open to everyone over the age of 8. Admission is free for MAC members and $1 for non-members.
- The Dallas Holocaust Museum is presenting “Let Me Be Myself: The Life Story of Anne Frank.” The exhibit is recommended for adults and children over the age of eleven years old. There is a virtual reality portion of the exhibit that allows the visitor to experience what Anne must have felt like.
- Theatre Arlington is presenting the family classic, Miracle on 34th Street, live on stage. The story is set in a New York City Macy’s. It is based on a classic novel and the movie adaptations.
- Cooking for Thanksgiving can result in a lot of grease in the kitchen. Instead of putting it down your drain. Bring it to the Mansfield 2018 Holiday Grease Roundup at the Mansfield Environmental Collection Center.
