On Saturday, January 23, 2016, Mansfield will host its annual Winter Walk. The event is free to enter, and will feature special activities and snacks for participants. The Winter Walk will be held at Mansfield’s Walnut Creek Linear Park, and is intended to promote and encourage physical activity among residents. Those who enter can jog, walk, or bike from Rose Park to Town Park. Attendees are allowed to bring dogs on leashes, and children in strollers. The first 100 participants will be given a free 2016 Winter Walk shirt.

When:

The event is being held on January 23, and starts at 9am.

Where:

The event begins at the Katherine Rose Memorial Park, and the run will conclude at Town Park, where vendors and activities will be made available. The address for Rose Park is 303 North Walnut Creek Dr, Mansfield, TX 76063.

Activities:

In addition to the trail walk, vendor booths will be present, free snacks will be available, and there will be free five-minute massages offered to participants.
