Mansfield has a brand new music festival this year. This will be the first year for the Music Alley Festival. The festival is taking the place of the Wurstfest festival that normally would be held at this time of year. The Music Alley Festival celebrates all things music and art with live concerts and interactive activities for guests of all ages. There will be four stages featuring live performances from everything from jazz to marching band to marionette puppets to country line dancing and beyond. There will be a “petting zoo” for instruments, where people can pick and play a wide variety of musical instruments. There will be a special appearance by HGTV star, Jimmy Don Holmes, from the hit show “Fixer Upper.” Motown hitmakers, the Drifters, will also be performing. There will be food and drinks matched to the theme of the stage. Food and drink vendors will accept credit/debit card or cash for purchase. There will be a photo contest going on that can be entered prior to the festival. The Festival will take place this Saturday, September 9th starting at 4pm. There will be several different alleys to pick from, but you can stroll down them all!
